MyGus is a medical device that calculates the patient’s taste. For this project, we had to think entirely about the use of the object, from its scenario to its reassuring design.

The difficulty in this project was to combine the practicality of a mobile and very usable object with the respect of the constraints linked to the medical world (sterilisation, use, washing, etc,…)

At the end of the project, it was necessary to detail the various parts of the object in order to propose to the manufacturers an industrializable object.

MyGus is a taste tester. It is used to check the proper functioning of the papillae thanks to an electrode that the caregiver places on the patient’s tongue. To simplify the object, we decided to group the case and its electronic components, with the electrode that the patient must hold in his hand.
